The device is so useful. It’s now permanently in my sling bag now for everyday carry. I brought it with me for my trip in Cambodia and our car broke down in the mountains area. The device managed to find service out there! Which surprised me and my cousin was able to call for help. Even now back in the states I still can use it for dead zones or if Verizon just sucks in the area. I got the edge because of the smaller form factor. Battery life is solid and will last u for your everyday needs. Fits in a sling very easily. The 1gb a month is incredible! That alone puts this company leagues above the rest in my opinion. 1gb can get u out of a pinch. I bought more data of course because I love this device.
Bought to use in our new Motorhome. We spend a lot of time dry camping but we love streaming our favorite shows while we are camping. Very useful as a wifi hotspot using a local 5G LTE sim card in the Philippines for teleconsult as a mental health worker. In this country, having 2 or 3 options for getting online is a must.
Also use it for streaming videos when workday is over.

Common Questions
Can I put my own SIM card in the Solis Pro, or set my own APN?
The Solis Pro is built to run on SIMO's own multi-carrier plans, so it doesn't need a SIM card — you buy SIMO data and the device selects a partner network for you. It isn't sold as a carrier-certified device for third-party SIMs, so a personal SIM/APN setup isn't the supported path.
How is the Solis Pro different from the Edge and Lite — which should I buy?
The Pro is the top-of-range model: 5G data plus a built-in power bank to charge your phone. The Edge is a 5G hotspot without the power bank; the Lite is the compact, lower-cost 4G model. All three use the same SIMO plans, so choose on speed (5G vs 4G), battery, and whether you want the power-bank feature.
My Solis Pro is installing a firmware update — is that normal, and could it affect my connection?
Yes, the Pro periodically installs firmware updates. Let it finish and don't power it off mid-update. If your connection stops working right after an update, restart the device; if it doesn't recover, contact Support.
Where do I find the serial number on my Solis Pro?
Your Pro has two identifiers — a hardware "Device serial number" and a "SIMO SN". You'll typically find them on the device label and in your SIMO account under the device details.
Does the Solis Pro really do 5G, and can it charge my phone?
Yes — the Pro is a 5G mobile hotspot and also works as a power bank, so it can top up your phone while you travel. Use the original cable for charging.
